Purpose
JESHS regards long-term accessibility of published articles and bibliographic records as a core publishing responsibility.
Current approach
The journal intends to maintain regular server backups, separate metadata records and preserved copies of published PDF files.
Persistent identifiers
When DOI infrastructure is activated, article metadata, authorship information and persistent identifiers will be linked to the publication record.
External preservation services
Participation in LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP Preservation Network or another preservation service will be stated only after a real integration has been completed.
Platform changes
If the technical platform changes, published URLs, metadata and files will be preserved or redirected as far as technically possible.
